French Toast Indulgence














Goodness gracious - if you have or can get these ingredients - DO SO! This is a perfect weekend brunch for the Gods and Goddesses!

WHOLE GRAIN BREAD (3 slices)
BUTTER
LARGE BROWN EGGS (3)
CINNAMON

ORANGE JUICE
BLUEBERRIES

TRADER JOE'S CHICKEN SAUSAGE
MINCED GARLIC
RED PEPPER PASTE

STRAWBERRY YOGURT

In small sauce pan, over medium heat, heat orange juice and fresh or frozen blueberries. Simmer while making french toast and sausage. Place sausage in small frying pan and heat over medium heat. Wisk together eggs and cinnamon to taste. Heat tablespoon of butter over griddle or in another frying pan. Soak bread, both sides, in egg mixture and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side. When sausage is done, add teaspoon of pepper paste and twice that in minced garlic.

To plate this lovely breakfast, cut french toast in half, split apart and lay the sausage in the spread. Top bread with plenty of yogurt and with a slotted spoon, generously cover with blueberries.
